Biography

Prof. Touhami LANEZ is a Professor at the University of El Oued, Algeria and Vice-Rector in charge of higher education, university rehabilitation and scientific research. Prof. Touhami LANEZ is the head of Laboratory of Valorisation and Technology of Sahara Resources (VTRS) at the University of El Oued (Algeria). He majored in organic chemistry at the University of Constantine, Algeria in 1985, and received a PhD in organic chemistry from the faculty of sciences at Strathclyde University, Great Britain in 1989. He is an editor and Co-editor of more than 10 international English journals. His research activities are focused on organometallic synthesis, electroanalytical chemistry, pharmacological sciences and antioxidant activity using electrochemical techniques. He is an inventor of a patent on measuring antioxidant activity owned by El Oued University and he authored more than 10 books.
